  We stayed a couple of weeks ago & spent £220 on a room with breakfast included. it was a birthday treat for my fianceè. We were in room 14. The room was small but trendy but we were shocked that the toilet and shower are actually in the room with just glass sides & door, there was also no ceiling. Also, when I arrived I was told there was no car parking, even though it states that there definitely is on the booking site. I complained about this on arrival and was just told to use the multi storey car park 5 minutes away. Anyway, we stayed here for a Saturday night and accepted the wierd toilet/shower in room situation & no car parking & carried on with our night out in Chester. We had a great time out in town then came back to the hotel about 1am & went to our room. Just after 4am we got woken by a buzzing noise, like a phone vibrating, the the sound of gushing water through pipework, like in the walls of our room. This noise lasted for 10 to 15 minutes. the noises started up and carried on the rest of the night, until, deprived of sleep, we got up. I immediately went to reception and complained. I spoke to a manager and she said shed never had a complaint but would let us have breakfast for free, even though Id already paid for breakfast. At breakfast I was handed an envelope with £29 refund for breakfast and car parking contribution. When we left I asked for the situation to be investigated and she said shed do that. I got a call a few days later and was told they couldnt find any noises in the room??? So basically calling me a liar! But that if I wanted I could stay there again for a 50% reduction... Hmmmm, my fianceès birthday gone & Im called a liar, let me think...? erm no! I said that was not good enough & she said she would get her boss to call me. Well Im still waiting for that call, even after I called them a few days ago to say that I was still waiting for that call.... Been over 2 weeks & nothing! Poor Customer Service!

  An Amazing experience I purchased a used car and was treated as if I had bought a 2019 new car. The car was beautifully presented and all wrapped up in the showroom like a big Christmas present. The unavailing was a great experience and the car was spotless. David made me feel very special. Many thanks to everyone at J & A Rigby &Sons you all deserve to do well.Janet Wood
